Tasteful Fall Decor under $80

It's almost that time of year. When the leaves change, there is a crispness in the air, and we feel extra cozy at home with a great throw blanket and fall candle burning. All while we cozy up and watch any Nancy Meyer movie. All things apple and pumpkin spice are out and we get to enjoy a beautiful change in season.

Fall is my favorite time of year and I love to decorate both inside and outside my home for the season. Now while I love all things fall, the decorations can get really cheesy, really fast. Some interior designers will avoid "fall" and "halloween" decor all together, but I disagree. I think it's fun to acknowledge the change of seasons in your home. And it can be done tastefully.

Today I'm sharing some tasteful fall decor with you, and all under $80. Warm up your home and get ready for the season with any of the decor below:

When it comes to keeping seasonal/holiday decor tasteful, focus more on the colors of the season, rather than predictable objects. Avoid buying the "obvious" fall/autumn decor of plastic stacked pumpkins, or big signs that say "happy fall y'all", etc. Instead, buy a beautiful throw with Autumn colors, or dried fall arrangements in a beautiful vase, etc. The exception to the rule is coffee mugs, that's where you can have a little more fun and it not be cheesy.

I especially can't wait to get this throw blanket, this plaid pillow and these cute fall coffee mugs. I'm a sucker for cute coffee mugs. I will also be incorporating a lot of dried fall botanical arrangements all around our house.

How will you be decorating this fall? If nothing else, make sure you at least fill your home with yummy smelling fall candles! This one is my current favorite!

Happy almost Fall,

Taylor
